VBAC after Classical Cesarean

As the mother of 10 children I would like to let you know of my experiences
with VBAC. My first 5 children were born normally.
Problems began when I was pregnant with my 6th baby. My waters broke when I
was at 31 weeks gestation, I was admitted to hospital where I managed to
hold on for another 2 weeks before going into labor. When labor didn't
progress doctors realized that the baby was presenting sideways. As a
result I had a Classical Caessarean (Horizontal cut to the higher part
of the uterus). About 2 years later I decided to have another baby, and went Doctor
shopping so to speak, to see if anyone would give me a Trial of Labor, as a
result of that I had many doctors say never. The doctor whom did the
caesarean to start with said Maybe. Further down the road I had another 4
babies of which the last 2 were long labors 34 hours and 28 hours.
After the delivery of the last, the doctor had to remove the placenta
manually and on doing so discovered that the caesarean scar site had
become quiet thin. I myself could feel the ridge in my uterus by feeling my
tummy within a short time after delivery. As a result of his findings I don't
think that I would attempt another VBAC. I also remember the fear that I had
during each VBAC. The doctor would say push, but at the back of my mind I thought
if I pushed to hard I might rupture my uterus. I also remember after having my
6th pregnancy cut so short by caessarean that I was very distressed
as I had just begun to look forward to the big event after suffering severe
hyperemisis (vomiting) during most of the pregnancy. I wish everyone all
the best particularly those trying VBAC.
